Young Farmers Responsible

Coalition Paysanne de Madagascar has achieved the 05 and 6 May 2011 a National Workshop.The Youth Commission officials in the Coalition Paysanne of Madagascar have participated in this workshop. The theme of this workshop is:”Young farmers participating in national life”
These young farmers participated in various trainings. The President of the CPM has made a presentation on Food Sovereignty. The participants were trained in advocacy and lobbying by Vice President of CPM. The Secretary General of CPM has trained the participants on climate change. Transparency International also participated in the workshop. This organization has submitted its actions in the fight against corruption. Transparency International has a partnership with CPM on the fight against corruption.
This workshop helped to develop the action plan of the Youth Commission, as well as strategies to deal with corruption. Young farmers have found that corruption is a factor of regression and degradation of society.
Thus, the fight against corruption in rural areas is one of the activities of young farmers.
A positive aspect of this meeting is the sharing of experiences between young people and the election of Commission officials that Young will coordinate activities to achieve.

JEUNES PAYSANS RESPONSABLES

La Coalition Paysanne de Madagascar a réalisé le 05 et 06 Mai 2011 un Atelier National. Les responsables de la Commission Jeune au sein de la Coalition  Paysanne de Madagascar ont participé a cet atelier. Le thème retenu dans cet atelier est : “ Jeunes paysans participant dans la vie nationale”
Ces jeunes paysans ont participé à différents formations. Le Président de la CPM a fait un exposé sur la Souveraineté Alimentaire. Les participants ont été formés sur le lobbying plaidoyer par le Vice Président de la CPM. Le Secrétaire Général de la CPM a formé les participants sur le changement climatique. Transparency International a également participé à l’atelier. Cet organisme a présenté ses actions pour la lutte contre la corruption. Transparency International a un partenariat avec la CPM dans  la lutte contre la corruption.
Cet atelier a permis d’elaborer le plan d’action de la Commission Jeunes, ainsi que les stratégies pour faire face à la corruption. Les jeunes paysans ont constaté que la corruption est un facteur de regression et de dégradation de la société.
Ainsi, la lutte contre la coruption en milieu rural est une des activités des jeunes paysans.
Un des points positifs de cette rencontre est le partage des experiences entre les jeunes et l’élection des responsables de la Commission Jeune qui vont coordonner les activités à réaliser.
