PRESS STATEMENT BY EAST AFRICAN CSO’s TO COUNTER THE COMMERCIALIZATION OF GMO

More than 100 Civil society organisations representing smallholder farmers, pastoralists, fisherfolks, consumer networks, faith groups and indigenous seed savers from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania gathered to reiterate our reservations regarding  the apparent push to commercialize Genetic Modified Organisms (GMOs) in the East African region.
