MVIWATA to celebrate 20th anniversary of existence

A largest network of small scale farmer groups in Tanzania, MVIWATA, is celebrating its 20^thanniversary since it was established in 1993. The event will be graced by the President of Tanzania, Hon. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwette

According to MVIWATA executive director Mr. Stephen Ruvuga, more than 1,000 members drawn from small scale farmer groups in and outside Tanzania will take part in the three days events in Morogoro town in Tanzania.

He said “The celebration will commence with the 18^th AGM on 22th July 2013 to be followed by a series of workshops on 24 and 25^th July 2013”.

The climax of the celebration on 26^th July 2013 will be graced by the president of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Kikwete speech amidst procession of members, exhibitions of agriculture produce and technology of small-scale farmers in Tanzania
