ESAFF to Cooperate with other Farmers’ Movements of the World

The Eastern and Southern Africa Small Scale Farmers’ Forum –ESAFF will seek collaborations with other farmers movement in the region and beyond. Passing a resolution during the Board Meeting held in Morogoro, Tanzania recently the Board said that the strength of ESAFF can be realized through co operations and collaborations with other farmers movements in the region and beyond.
“ESAFF can achieve its goals alone; but a lot more can be achieved b ESAFF if it works with others” said one of the Board members.
The resolution of the Board will see ESAFF working together with its traditional allies PELUM Association, and other regional farmers movements. These farmer movements are the Southern Africa Conferederation of Agricatural Unions (SACAU), the Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF), Plateforme sous-Régionale des Organisations Paysannes d’Afrique Centrale (PROPAC); Réseau des Organisations Paysannes et des Producteurs Agricoles d’Afrique de l’Ouest (ROPPA); La Via Campesina – Africa, and the International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP).
