The region\u2019s food insecure population (by October 2021<\/span>), stood at 50.6 million excluding Comoros, Mauritius and Seychelles. Despite that all 16 SADC members are signatories to the CAADP Malabo Declaration that have 7 commitments to be achieved by the year 2025, the region has not been a good<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\">performer.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\">This analysis looks at the 5 SADC countries performance in the agriculture sector in the past 4 years; 2018-2021.
